What kind of marker can one use to permanently draw on denim jackets?
hey all. I want to take denim jackets and draw/color on them to create these really artsy jackets to sell (part of the proceeds are going to a local charity). my question is - what kind of marker can I use so its permanent and won't run in the rain or wash or is there a spray I need to use afterwards? I want this to come out really professional looking. any tips?

- try a Sharpie permanent marker.
- You could try a tide bleach pen if you want lighter designs. Sharpies are the best markers, in my opinion. I don't believe you have to spray anything... I've drawn on my clothes with Sharpies, and they still look good after multiple washes.
- I could be facetious and say use anything that says it's non-permanent, but seriously a permanent marker should do the job. First try out a test piece and subject to to normal washing, rain, wear etc.
- You can get permanent pens in the supermarket for writing on fabric. They are called laundry markers and they're usually with the detergents and stuff.
- yeah
