Ummm was I the only person in the world who didn't know this?
So hey today i was bleaching denim shorts and found that when you pour mass amounts of bleach directly onto denim it turns bright yellow. I was just wondering if like other people knew this and i was like the only one who didn't. For the record i was just trying to make them white but after you wash them their kinda nice. lol

- I didn't know that but thank you. I'm sure that information will come in handy.
- Your most definatly not the only one. But yeah, I did know that. But not till about last year.
- Not everyone knows this. The only reasons I did was because my parents have repeatedly (and failingly) tried to make me do my own laundry. Usually, you need to disperse the bleach to help negate some of the corrosive effects. It is a very strong base. Usually, Bleach is for whites. Even on whites, you should still mix some bleach with water first. The bleach might erode some of the material away, depending on what type of fabric it is. For colored clothes, Clorox (most known for Clorox Bleach) has Clorox Bleach for Colors. (or at least I think that's the name of it). That will help take out stains on colored clothing.
- lol! I didn't really know that, so now i know not to do it. Thankss. that sucks about your shorts, i hope the bleach comes out. XD
- You may think it looks OK now, but it a very short time, you're going to start developing holes where you poured the bleach directly on the material. And the holes are going to get bigger and bigger.
